Subscribers may receive text messages when the Town publishes a new public job posting, makes a material public-facing change to a posting, or closes a posting that matched the subscriber's selected alert preferences. The service is informational and is not used for third-party advertising or affiliate marketing.
How to opt in
SMS is optional. A person selects Text message (SMS) on the Town's Job Alerts form, enters a mobile number, accepts the SMS consent disclosure, and submits the request. The Town then sends a separate verification message. Recurring SMS job alerts are not activated until the person completes that verification step.
Open the Job Alerts signup form or review the SMS opt-in flow and disclosure.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to SMS job alerts is not a condition of applying for employment or receiving employment consideration from Town of Burgaw.
